Advantages: Lots of retailers under one roof
Disadvantages: None!
Outfit is a great store, described as 'leading fashion brands under one roof'. It houses a selection from all the stores under the 'Arcadia' group. These include Burtons & Topman (menswear), Dorothy Perkins, Evans, Miss Selfridge, Topshop, Wallis, Principles & Warehouse (all womenswear).
Outfit is one of those stores that are normally situated at retail parks just outside of large towns. My local branch is pretty much in-town & is very convienient. Sometimes the selection of stores housed inside can vary from the list above - my branch includes all except Evans & Topman.
The stores are big, & each brand has it's own section inside. These are not necessarily clearly defined, but rather blend into one another with discreet walls between them. The layout is good - everything is clearly on display with plenty of room to walk among the many rails & racks.
There are frequent sales on at the store, particularly since the recession hit. Row upon row of sale stock can be found at this time & can sometimes create a cluttered feel to the store.
There is just one fitting room, but with plenty of stalls & I have never had to queue to try something on.
Again, there is just the one checkout which covers all the brands within, so it's easy to check-out, even if you're shopping at more than one retailer. There are plenty of assistants & service is always quick.
Overall, a great shop. Saves so much time trawling from one to the next on the high st.
Summary: New Outfit anyone...?!
