Disadvantages: When making sashes it takes you to trolley and you have to search again to make another sash

I came across this site the other night whilst searching for items for a Comic Relief party. Me and my friend decided we would have a Singstar night with the girls, then we chose to make it more of a party.

I have previously had a Kids birthday party theme for my partners birthday so my friend decided that we were going to make it the same theme but everything had to be in red. So typing in google looking for red wigs for the party we clicked on this site and a few others.

On the site it says it has been online since 1999. It's the first time I have really looked for a site for these kind of things as I usually use Ebay. The company is based in Surrey.

On the homepage of this site there is lots too look at and it will take you a few minutes to take all the info in and to know what you are looking at and where to go.

On the left hand-side there is Sale items so you click on one of the headings to bring you to that part of the site. Underneath this there is Themes & Tableware, Party Essentials, Decorations, Party Games and Play then Dress up so there is definately lots of stuff for you to browse through.

On the centre of the main page there is different links to click onto to find products. There is also a search box at the top to find exactly what you are looking for. And right at the top there is tabs to use instead.

I chose to search by using the grown up party tab. This brought up several themes including popular themes, general party and many more. I then clicked on plain coloured then red. Here is when all the items come up in red.

Hovering over each picture brings up a larger picture of the item, you can then type in the quantity in the box and press add. This will be added to your trolley. After adding loads of things like balloons, tablecloths, wigs and much more. So it was so easy to get everything in the same place.

We decided to go and look at other tabs and decided to click on Personalise to see what was in there. There's loads to personalise including banners, invitations, party sashes. We went into party sashes and decided on making all the girls a sash each. This is very easy to use - you have the front and back of the sash and put your on wording in her. you can choose the colour os sash, text colour and even the style of writing. Then you have the option of adding a symbol - we chose someone dancing (closest thing to singing!) It shows you a preview of your sash and once you're happy with it you click on Continue. This then takes you to next page with all the details, you type in quantity and confirm. This goes into your trolley too. The sashes cost £4.99 each which is worth it as they are so well made with you personalising it as much as you want.

The prices for the items are very reasonable, and if you spend over £50 you get free delivery. Under £50 postage costs vary depending on what option you use. Postage is from £3.95 - £7.99 but for Isle of Man, Channel Isles, Scottish Isles & BFPO's it's £12.25. With the free postage it only took 2 days to get this delivered which was fantastic. Unfortunately the did charge us for something they didn't put in the box and we're still waiting to hear back from them.

Sign up is easy and checkout is very quick. Only takes a few minutes over a secure server. You have the choice to get this delivered to a different address as well which is great if you're working.

Overall this site is really easy to use, with loads of ways to search the items. There really is just about everything you need for a birthday party. I would recommend you use this for any themed party, kids party and adults party you have coming up.
