Advantages: Good quality and low prices
Disadvantages: None
I first started shopping in Peacocks when I started working in a different area and I just happened to walk in one day on my dinner hour. I had never even heard of the shop before that day. I now notice these shops in more places and I have no problem traveling to go shopping there. There are over 500 stores in the UK and concessions can be found in several Co-Op stores.
The clothes you can buy are very reasonable in price and I have never had a problem with the quality. They keep their shape after washing and the colours do not fade.
They keep up with the lates fashion and I often buy my clothes from there instead of places like Dorothy Perkins, New Look, Next etc.
Their sizes range from an 8 up to 22 which is good for me as I am a large lady and sometimes struggle to find shops that sell larger sizes. They are also quite generous in their sizing.
I recentley went in and thought I would treat myself to some new things. This is what I bought:
Pair of black, bootleg trousers in long length - £8
White short sleeved shirt -£10
Grey trousers for work- £14
Black pencil skirt - £5
Blue belted jersey dress - £16
Black leggings - £5
Necklace, earings & bracelet - £10
Other things that they sell are: shoes, hates, scalfes, bags, tights, underwear any many other things.
As my son grows at a fast rate I do not want to spend alot of money on clothes for him that are not going to last him long so I will buy him things from there. You can get charactor clothing and also very fashionable things. E.g a pair of plain jeans for only £4 and a pair or faded fashionable jeans for £6.
I am on a budget as times are hard but even if I was not I would still shop here, I believe it is very good value for money.
Summary: Fantastic shop
