Advantages: very knowledgeable staff, well cared for animals

Disadvantages: really can't think of any!

If you are a pet owner, or you have small children and you live near a Pets at Home branch... then I will be amazed if you have not visited one of these stores.

They seem to be taking over the market in terms of pets and pet supplies in most towns.... an in my opinion quite rightly so!

All the branches i have visited have been lovely stores, full of fantastic items and knowledgeable staff.

My children love to visit and see the small animals, which are excellently cared for in my opinion. We bought my daughters hamster from a Paets at Homes store and we were given excellent advise on care and handling and I was impressed by just how much staff seemed to know. Fifi the hamster is a lovely addition to the family a prime specimen too!

Also handy in the brances I have visited (not sure however if it is in all branches, so would be wise to check) is the on site veterinary surgery, which provides a free health check for any small animal you purchase at the store.

Pets at Home seem to know there stuff and have earned top spot in my opinion!
