Advantages: has everything for common pets

Disadvantages: a bit expensive and also dont cater for reptiles

Pets at home is a large pet store chain that has everything you can think of from treats to the actual pets. We have a large store on our retail park that is great. My children like to go there just to look at the animals. They have a verity of different animals like rats, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, gunni pigs etc.. They also have a wonderful selection of fish, Both tropical and cold water. I have had fish from there before but I do find that they do die very quickly so I do avoid buying from them now.

The shop is quite expensive. I was going to buy a rabbit earlier in the year and found that they were about £30 which I found very expensive as I actually had one for free out of the buy and sell. Fish are reasonably priced so that's ok.

The shop is quite big and has easy access for wheelchairs etc. The staff are really friendly in there though and always happy to help.

The shop has a large selection of food and toys for all sorts of pets. I really liked the idea that they had comfortable chairs for rabbits etc.. I found these really sweet. One thing that Pets at home does not cater for is reptiles. I have asked about this as I have a beardd dragon but I was told by a member of staff that they are unable to becase pets at home are against having reptiles as pets. I suppose they have a point but it would be nice if they sold the items I'm after. I do tend to by my cat food at the supermarkets though, the same for treats as I do find this shop a bit expensive but my kids love to go and look at the animals so that's good.

Summary: A good store to take ur kids to look at the amimals hehe
