I am a huge fan of Pets at Home. There is one less that 10 minutes from my house, and it is pretty big, which means that it is really well stocked with a wide range of goods for the pet and pet owner.

There are packs, for those who are planning to get a pet, which contain all that you need to get started. There is a huge range of pet foods, treats, toys, equipment and bedding. There are also books with loads of helpful information, along with little gifts (such as magnets, calenders etc) for the pet lover.

All the goods are well laid, out, making it really easy to find what you are looking for. The shops are also very clean and bright, with plenty of staff around to help, should you need it. They don't bother you by trying to sell you things that you don't need either, they are simply keen to help you find the things that you do want, which is quite refreshing.

I find the staff are really knowledgeable about the stock too, which is great if you are a little unsure of what you need. If you have any questions, they will do their best to help, and if they cannot, will find you someone who can.

The prices are really competitive too, which always helps! I particularly like the choice that this shop offers though, as can usually find what I need, which isn't often the case in supermarkets.

Finally, the staff always check that I am okay to get my stuff to the car, and offer to help carry it if there is a lot (we usually buy heavy big bags of cat litter). These are the little touches that make Pets at Home stand out, and the reason that I will keep shopping there.

Definitely recommend this store, and I am sure that my pets would too!
