Pets at Home ... at Home has recently opened up in my home town so i thougt i would pay it a visit and see what they had to offer. On first impressions the store is bright and airy, very clean (whether this continues to be the case as the store gets older will be interesting to find out) and with a lot of different products. The first thing you come to in the front middle section of the store are the tanks with small animals in, there are a good selection of gerbils, rats ,hamsters and rabbits. What was good to see is that they also had animals from rescue centres that needed to be rehomed, i thought this was a brilliant idea as if i was looking for a small animal i would definatel... Pets at Home ... shop is about 30 minutes away from where i live so it is quite handy to go to. They have a very good selection of items for various types of pets. They do have a few animals and quite a few fish for sale too. Their prices all seem reasonable for what i ve ever needed and they have some good offers on too. If you re new to having a pet/fish like i was for buying a tropical aquarium then i have found the staff very helpful and polite to deal with. The only problem that i have found is that when i did purchase some glowlight tetras fish that they had on offer for 5 for £4.50 although they looked healthy and ok in the store. Pets at Home ... really like pets at home, when i bought my first puppy thats exactly where i went to get everything i needed. I mean what doesnt it do you can buy your pet food, toys, treats not only that but its a vets aswell so you can go to the vets aswell as getting the dogs shopping in. The vets are great very helpfull and they have lots of tricks to get your pets to eat their medicine. when we first joined there was a deal i think its occasionally still going on, it was if you sign up to a certain treatment for the full treatment you can get your pet chipped for free when it would usually cost you £50. so amazing i did that straight away considering my pup wasnt cheap either! w...
