Advantages: cheap fashion
Disadvantages: it seems to be cheap quality too
Pilot is a high street store aimed at teens and young female adults. On first impression there is a great range of fashionable low cost items there which is great during the credit crunch.
However I have a problem with the quality of the clothes they sell from personal experience. I have had 3 jumpers from there in the same design in black, grey and brown as I loved the style (they had ruched arms with a silver buckle around the waist) 2 were presents which I asked for and I bought one myself. They cost £17 in the sale from £27. Unfortunately they are all now in the bin! After just one wash which I did at 50 degrees they started to fall apart at the seams especially in the arm pit area. I thought it may have been a default on just one but all 3 jumpers have ripped open at the arm pit and can never be worn again.
To be fair to pilot I have not been in to try and get a refund/exchange as I always feel too cheeky to do so. Therefore they may have been able to solve my problem. My answer is there should not have been a problem in the first place.
As much as I am drawn in by the bright colours, fashion and cheap price labels of pilot I will never shop there again as it has upset me so much.
I am sorry if this is a one off but I must be really unlucky if all 3 jumpers broke!
Summary: I wont be shopping there again
