Advantages: Cheap

Disadvantages: Crowded, products are sometimes bad quality

Poundland is as its name suggests a store in which everything is prices at a pound. Most people previously thought of discounts stores such as poundland, 99p stores and the like were cheap and everything sold in there was of rubbish quality. With the current economic state and the country going towards a recession, many people have put aside their pride and started to shop at poundland.
The poundland chain i am going to review is my lcal one in the city centre.
The actualy layout of the store is not too good as it can often get crowded and especially mothers with prams find it hard to get around. The sections are labelled so that customers know what part of the store to go to. The only thing is that they keep changing the layout so it can get quite confusing.
You can get several good brands of products such as hair products and toiletries and also sometime snack food.
Overall poundland can be a good place to get a bargain and with the current credit crunch, there's never been a better time to start.

Summary: Poundland....everything is just a pound!
