Advantages: Its cheap and cheerful

Disadvantages: The shop always seems to be full of screaming babies and children when I go!

What can you say - a pound. Yep everything is a pound. I find poundland a brilliant little store to head to for all of your cleaning products, pop, sweets and chocolates as more often than not they are a little cheaper than high street stores and supermarkets. Poundland is a useful and handy little store for me and it always seems to have what I need and want. I feel that the overall look and layout of the Poundland shop is cheap, cheerful and welcoming - Everything is easy to find! With regards to Poundlands staff I honestly feel that 50% of them want to be there and are very helpful, approachable and friendly and the other 50% just really dont want to be there - this of course might be different in your local Poundland - HOWEVER having said this the staff always seem to be prompt and efficient when it comes to serving you as I never really have had to queue or wait longer than a few minutes. I think this is really why I like Poundland as its convenient, handy and easy just to nip into as and when you need something. Overall I like Poundland - yes I know I can sometimes get things cheaper from the supermarket but for what it would cost in petrol and time I might aswell just get it from Poundland thats just down the road!
