Advantages: Everything is £1, holds everyday products
Disadvantages: not everything is good quality
Im a bargain hunter and Poundland is defently one of my favourite bargain shops around, where obviously everything is £1.
I tend to buy a lot of my toiletries there, like handwash, tooth paste and shower gel, but be careful because sometimes things can cost a little bit more than in other shops but this is rare, for example i buy a handwash which is 89p elsewhere. I am also a great fan of there make-up corner, where they stock top branded products, but quite often can be strange colours or foundations which are not used by the mass.
Poundland is defently a store to shop at as stocks everyday products, anything from toiletries, kids toys, food, gardening and stationary. Its an ideal place to go when its back to school, or at christmas for those little stocking fillers and i always shop there when im off 2 festivals as i can stock up on things and not worry about destroying them as they only cost £1.
Watch out for little gems, i spotted an array of nicky clarke products last week which usually cost around £3 upwards each. Ive also seen piz buin, apple ipod products.
Not everything is good quality they sell but it is defently the best £1 shop around, i always end up spending £10 when ever i go in there on things i never knew i needed.
Summary: defently worth shopping there
