Advantages: great for saving those pennies or pounds

Poundland the wonderful high street store that you can buy lots of useful goods and also some pretty useless ones too.

Grab bargains such as 2 rechargable batteries for £1 and they are decent ones too.
If you are feeling in the mood for a bit of hanky panky I have seen items such as condoms and lubes in my local store (not that ive purchased any of these) HE HE.
Great for decorating items such as rollers and scrapers too.
You can grab a 4 pinta of milk in my local one for just a pound as well which is a bargain when you see how much the big supermarkets are charging for this essential item.

You can find one of these stores on almost any high street these days as people always like to pick up a bargain, more so in the current financial crisis that many of us face due to the mess our once Great Country is in.
The stores were founded in 1990 and apparantly over half of the products sold in the stores are sourced from the U.K which is a good thing.
There is also a website that helps you locate your local store and has details of products stocked in the stores.

I love going into this store as you can always find something you want for a bargain price (£1)
Not sure on the quality of some of the items such as toys and the like but as long as you are careful about what you buy you cant go wrong with this shop.
The stores used to just take cash but now have chip and pin which is good when you over spend.
Great shop.
