Poundshops in my opinion are fantastic and the one i use most regularly is in Wood Green North London.
I was having a BBQ a couple of weeks ago and you can guess what happened 30 mins before the guests arrived yes it rained,now i had spent all my money on the Food and Drink and only had a few quid left till pay day.

I could not call it off yet had no way of cooking a BBQ in the rain so i went to the trusty old poundshop and found the ideal thing to make a very cheap canopy to not only cover the BBQ but also half the garden.

All i bought was 6 big tarpaulin type sheets at a £1 each and some long garden canes,i then staked in the canes and attached the sheets covering all of the patio and BBQ and what a life saver it was all my guest kept dry,there was room outside for all and the food did not get soggy.

The Poundshop had come to my rescue yet again,but it is not only good for things like this its great for all those little odds and sods that you may suddenly need and especially great for cheap paper plates and cups for those wishing to entertain with BBQ's now the sun is shining again.

So go on get to the shop and save save save.
