Advantages: Cheap, loads of bargains

Disadvantages: Can get carried away loading up your basket

No matter what town you go to you will almost certainly see a pound shop.

They come in all different names, pound shop, pound land, round as a pound....etc.

I absolutley love these shops, and always go in to see what bargains they have.

Now I know what you're thinking, what a cheap skate, well yes I love a bargain, show me a woman who does'nt. But it is'nt just full of cheap rubbish, I actually get household items from in here, and I now know better and look in this shop before looking else where.

I will give you a run down of what they stock, I wont tell you everything, just a few of the things you might pay a lot more for else where, I will also keep updating this opinion with new things in the store too, so keep coming back as I go in there REGULAR.

Now remember everything in the shop is a POUND.

HOUSEHOLD ITEMS

washing up bowls, drainers, waste paper bins, cutlery trays, mops, and buckets, door mats, wall paper.

CHRISTMAS ITEMS

8 metres of disney wrapping paper, 10,20,25, 50 pack of cards in various designs, bows, advent calenders, gift tags, decorations, tinsel, crackers.

CAR ITEMS
.........
Car mats, cock pit spray, de-icer, anti-freeze, wind screen wash, oil, car wash, scrapers, sunscreen visors (2 small pack & large front ones), shammy leathers.

TOILETRIES
..........
Crest 100ml toothpaste, Colgate 100ml, mouth wash, 4 pack of imperial leather soap, radox bubble bath, radox bath salts, novelty bubble baths, scented candles, tooth floss, bristows hair spray, 100ml head & shoulders.

TOYS
.....
Play shoes, armbands, hardback books, teddies, dolls.

FOOD
.....
Cadburys drinking chocolate, QT, QC, 10 pack of chewing gum, 3lt bottle of juiceey squash.

I could go on forever but I can tell you're getting fed up.

But poundland is a very clean and tidy shop,
some are very cluttered but this one is'nt.

The aisle's are nice and wide, the staff are very friendly and pack your bags for you, no matter how busy they are.

You can never say that you cant afford christmas with shops like this about, I can assure you ive seen things in this shop that are priced up at between 5 and 10 pound in other shops, the same brands too. You can pick up some great bargains in here, so dont turn your nose up when you see one of these shops, go in and have a look, you'd be surprised I tell you!!
