Advantages: Good quality products
Disadvantages: Not a huge range
You can be a lover or a hater of this store. I will say I am a lover. My local store is next to my main asda it used to be called poundstreacher, eventhough it has changed names it still holds the same stock and I will say that it is now of better quality.
I have found that things that I have bought from other places I have always found it cheaper in Instore which is a bit of a pain when I have already bought it. I now tend to try and shop here first now.
It has a wide range of products in this store, I have bought baby clothes at one point and most were in a sale, I spent £35 and came back with clothes that would last my daughter 6 months and there was an outfit for every day of the week. When I have tried to do this in any other store this has cost me substatially more.
I will admit that the clothing range for adults is much to be desired because there is not a huge range to choose from, but with a good look you can find a nice top or two for a few quid.
They have one of the best garden selections that I have seen in my opinion and it is no more expensive than anywhere else and can be quite cheap on some things like hanging baskets and plastic garden furniture. I recentley bought my farther a green garden set that cost me £30 for a table and 4 chairs, other places that I had been to to price them up were working out alot more expensive so they were a steal in my eyes.
When it comes to christmas I tend to find the odd cheap toy and colouring books as stocking fillers for the kids which makes it look like they have more things and it will only cost me £20 each child and the stuff lasts for quite a long time.
I have also invested in alot of bathroom and kitchen products from here which I still have now so that is proof that it can be of good quality and good value for money.
They also do electrical appliances here, I bought a car vacum that does its job and have had this for about a year now it was a dirt devil that was on a deal at £7.99, I can not grumble with prices like that.
Some things that are sold here are the same price in many stores but when they have a half price sale which is every 2 to 3 months you can really grab a bargin on those things.
I love this store for a browse every now and again they do not have much but you can pick up a bargin. They also change their stock quite often so it is worth having a browse every week to see what you can pick up.
The children also love this shop when they have pocket money because they can get something they want with £2 it keeps them quiet and happy.
I would suggest that anyone should at least have a look you will be pleasantly surprise.
Summary: You can grab a good deal best for garden things
