I dont know what it is with Prada, we all rush to it and have to have it - but when you really analyse it its not anything special. I have bought several prada items over the last few years and allways remain rather underwhelmed - you certainly pay a hefty premium for the label and I have stopped thinking its worth the money and am looking elsewhere. I think the days of being able to impress by having the right label is coming to an end. What exactly entices us about Prada? Is it their cheap prices? Obviously not as its £48 for a tiny makeup bag. Is it their quality? Debatable. Is it how long the item stays in fashion? No, so what exactly is it? Here's the answer, the name. "PRADA black Nylon logo bag, $600 US" What are we exactly paying for here? Obviously, the NAME: PRADA. For those of you who don't know anything about the construction of DECENT bags, nylon is one of the cheaper materials used in the industry, and is usually used for lining. Yes, lining. We use leather or expensive fabrics such as wool or tweed for the outside material of bags.
