Advantages: cheap, cheerful

Disadvantages: easy to get carried away

So unfortunately I live in Edinburgh and although they have a lot of shops here the one I do have to travel to get to that they have not decided to build yet is Primark. I know most people will say how cheap this shop is and some people would be ashamed to be caught in here but there really are some bargains. You get a mixture of shoppers here some timidly flickign through tops, some right out there pulling out the tops saying "Oh £2, what a bargain". Overall everyone likes it here just they won't say, even me.

My first time ever going to Primark was last year in Stirling. It is the only time I ever go through to Stirling when shopping here, it's not exactly famous for it's shopping but it's the enarest Primark to me. I had heard so much about this shop, lots of recommendations and lauhter of people saying to me that you can go in with £10 and come out with bags. I laughed and just thought to myself yeah right.

So when I was driving there I was really excited and found Prmark easily. It was plainly designed but so many clothes, so off I went on my psychotic bargain hunt. First I picked up a lovely skirt £4 I nearly fainted, then a lovely top £2, this was unreal all very nice designs one even had diamantes. I was worried that I was this excited and I'd only started and I sent away my friend to grab me a basket because before you know it your arms becomes unseeable with all of the clothes piling on top.

Next it was accessories, belts for £1, a nice bag I found for £3. The pyjamas are where I spent a lot of time nice sets for only £5 and the underwear, some pairs of pants at 50p. It's shocking somewhere can sell stuff so cheap. I then had about 25 items to take into the changing room but unlike some sales assistants who laugh if you have 10 items she just went go straight through, obviously usd to it. So I went to try on everything then the announcement for store closing was out so I didn't even get to try everything on but just selected what I did and didn't want. Obviously, some things look nicer displayed than on.

When paying my total came to about £50 and I had about 3 large bags and I thought it was a joke coming in with £10 going out with bags full. What I did ntoice about Primark is that you don't tend to se a lot of the sales staff about, it only seems at the till so you can't pick up on their friendliness. They're not as welcoming as most shops but maybe they feel they don't need to ask anyone for help as most people di right in.

The clothes quality is good here, everything I have bought has stayed as good as it was even though it was cheap. No bobbliness, tearing etc. Some items I bought I haven't worn this is the only problem with a place like this you don't limit yourself as you would elsewhere and then come out with items that have no future wear.

The store layout is easy you can find everything, clothes together, accessories, pyjamas. I would recommend this shop for people who are not snobby. I wouldn't rely on buying everything here as I have more expensive tastes but the odd trip I make here I do buy.

I love this shop. There is one right by my college so that means daily visits!

I find with Primark the clothes are cheap, but so is the quality. I used to buy all my munchkins clothes there when they were babies and the clothes didn't need to last long, but now I prefer to pay a little more for clothes that last.
