Advantages: Latest fashions, cheap prices and lots of choice
Disadvantages: Very messy, unhelpful staff and some chavy people
I do not know what we all did before Primark. It is one of the best shops to hit the highstreets purely for its cheap affordable fashion. Each week Primark has something new, whether it is Marc Jacobs style millitary jackets to basic tops for everyday wear.
Primark is a great shop if you want to buy the latest fashions but you don't want to spend your money on designer prices. I recently brought a gold slouchy bag which retails in Topshop for £100, i got it for £6. The millatry style jackets in black, navy and cream are available in most shops from around £40, in Primark they are £12.
Primark is the perfect shop for all fashion addicts and even some fashion victims beczuse it is afforadable throw away fashion. By that i mean there is no point in buying something for £100 that will go out of fashion in a few weeks, instead go to Primark but it for £10 and then when it does go out of fashion you won't have the guilt of how much you spent.
For all good things ultimately there are always bad things. In Primarks case it is the presentation of the store. There are always mounds of clothes piled up on floors where people have chucked them or just let them fall. The staff aren't always that helpful there gave been occasions when i have been treated not very nice. But it is something you just get over, most sales assistants are like that.
Also, the kinds of people you get shopping there are usually what you would call 'trash' or a 'chav'. So if you can deal with that then its fine, although it does get slighlty annoying when they take up all the space with their prams and screaming children. Also, they tend to run out of smaller sizes so you need to get in their quick.
If you don't want to buy your clothes in Primark you can buy accessories, they usually have the same belts that warehouse and topshop do but for only £1. You can also buy sleepware, homeware and underwear.
Overall it is a great shop and with one opeing up in Oxford Street it is only going to get bigger. One thing i would say though is you need to look around spend a hour rooting through stuff because that is when you find true bargains.
Summary: A fashionistas dreamworld.
