Advantages: Really cheap and high fashion
Disadvantages: Not always high quality
Primark is a high street fashion retailer with budget prices. Primark has lots of stores nationawide and also trade in Ireland (Penneys) and Spain.
Personally I love Primark, its great for a bargin or when money is tight. I have found that the quality of some of the clothes can be a bit low however I use it more for high fashion items that are not deigned to be worn for a long time.
Shoes, Handbangs and Accessories-
This department sells every shape colour and style of shoes, bags, sunglasses and jewellery that you can imagine at great prices. You can pick up a pair of flipflops for £2, a pair of heels for £8 a handbag for £1 and much more. I have found the quality of the jewellery and bags to be very good but find the shoes only useful for occasional wear, it is not somewhere that I would buy shoes for everyday use. At the moment sunglasses are currently £2-£3 and are really good style and quality. Highly reccomended.
Womens Clothing is available form a size 8 to a size 18 but in generally sold in composite sizes- ie. 10-12, 16-18 etc. I find the sizes and cut of the clothes to be a mixture and it is always advisable to try on. In general the cut is not very generous and often requires you to move up a size. There is everything form Jeans and jackets to pants and bikinis. I like this department, as I stated previously, for high fashion items that would be worn only a few times. You can pick up a top for £2 and jeans for £5. Really good value. My favourite at present is the holiday wear. There are lots of really fashionable bikinis for just £4. They are well made and of high quality.
Menswear is available from small to XXL and in general the sizing is very good. Again there is a wide range of clothing from shorts to suits. The quality can be a bit poor sometimes but their work range is very good. You can pick up a shirt and tie for around £5 and this washes and wears very well.
The childrens department caters from babies to young teenagers and sells all items of clothing imaginable, right down to underwear and hats. I persoanlly am not a fan of the babywear as I find it is not of good qulaity or made of nice enough materials. I find the toddlers clothes really great value. The are resoanble qulaity and wash well. I find them great for nursery. At the moment there are really pretty girls summer dresses for just £5. The older childrens ranges are good also and are more high fashion. Again, sometimes the qulaity is a hit and a miss so it is important to shop carefully.
This is my favourite department. it sells, towels, beding, cushions and general accessories for the home. I find their items to be good qulaity (especially the towels) and very modern.
Overall I think this is a great budget store if you shop wisely, try your clothes on and check for the quality. ideal for disposable fashionable.
Summary: I love it!!
