Advantages: prices & trends
Disadvantages: busy!
people often think Primark is for the younger generation - but hey- I am fifty five and quite happily spend an hour or so with my seventeen year old daughter buying things!
I know there is a lot of publicity at the moment about why we should not shop at Primark - unfortunately I missed the Panorama programme last week and only heard the review - but the prices are so tempting aren't they?
If you want high fashion and are not too bothered about the quality then this is the shop for you.
Busy place - so be prepared to be a bit squashed and wait in (often) long queues.
I have bought some lovely accessories such as a huge bundle of gold and black bangles for £1 and a super belt for £2.
My daughter is a student so she always wants to keep up with the trends but has to be careful with money so she tend to go for mix and match clothes which she can accessorise to make them look a bit 'different' - not everyone wants to be known as 'Ms Primark 2008'!!
great bags as well - great for students, mums and avid shoppers as some of them are HUGE!
Summary: great if you want high fsshion at knockdown prices

- 30/06/08 The queues are ridicolous in Primark. And the recent prgramme highlighted that there is in fact child labour involved and unreasonable working conditions but lets be honest this can not be a shock to the consumer because how else could have clothes for basically nothing. |
