Advantages: Everything you want at
Disadvantages: Gets too busy
The Primark branch that I go to is in Manchester. In 2001, they became the leaseholder of the former Lewis's Department Store in Piccadilly, the centre of Manchester
As it is situated right in the centre, it is near transport links, more and more shops and lovely places to eat and drink.
Primark has whatever you want in clothes and accessories under the one roof and at fantastically low prices.
With fashion changing so fast you can more then keep up with it at this shop. As soon as the latest celeb is seen with a new handbag or a designer brings out a skirt then Primark have their consumer friendly version out in the shops not long after.
They also stock make up, where everything is £1. So you really can afford to experiment with new looks.
Women, men, children and babies are all catered for and many different tastes too. It is one of those rare places you can go shopping with the whole family and all come out smiling.
I have always found staff to be polite and helpful but you do have to go looking for them.
If you love fashion but don't have the purse to match then this is the place for you.
The only thing going against it, if that is the right word, is its popularity. You have to wait for what seems forever at both the tills and trying on clothes. The store is always packed so if you claustrophobic or have a child in a buggy, be warned, it will be a hard place to get round. Not somewhere, I think, you can have a nice leisurly stroll around and peruse the goodies in your own time.
Saying that though I wouldn't change the shop and seem to have bought many clothes and jewellary there in the past month, but I certainly have not broken the bank
Summary: If you like fashion and an up to date wardrobe then this shop allows you to do it.

- 07/08/08 Just back from a trip to Manchester and have to say that's the biggest Primark I have ever seen! And try to go just after they open...you really can take a leisurely stroll round then :-) |

- 07/08/08 you havent seen the one in London Oxford street- its not unusual to see the person in front of you spend upwards of £700 in Primark stuff- yes really. Apparently for their families back home. (middle Eastern tourists with silly money) |

- 06/08/08 I hate it when the queues are massive and they have half the tills closed! Thanks for the review. |
