Advantages: The prices!

Disadvantages: Everyone can end up with one!

Once upon a time Primark was a highly embaressing place to be seen in, its dowdy clothes and jumble sale look did the company no favours and then over the last two years it has rocketed to in my opinion the best shop on the high street.

Yes some of the clothes look cheap, are of poor quality and are down right hideous but the high fashion piece for under ten pounds make the place heaven for me and my student purse.

Vest tops £1.50, stunning going out dresses £12, jeans for £8 pumps for £4... the list goes on.

Open any fashion magazine and you will see the Primakr cult buys which sell out because everybody wants them. This can be the down side. Seeing something in a magazine you desperately want and then it sells out. Or worse they stock it for months and you see every other person wearing it. But thats the chance you take.

As far as ethical views go I believe theres clothes to be like much of the high street and not all stitched by 5 year olds in India.

Be prepared to queue for 10/15 minutes for changing rooms and tills. Try not to step on the clothes on the floor but enjoy having a good old rummage because everything you get from there is a bargain!

Summary: Deffinatly worth a look if your feeling the pinch!
