Advantages: Cheap, up to date fashion
Disadvantages: Clothes dont wear that well
I do remember going to Ireland and walking into Penneys and shouting "My god they are ripping off Primark", to be gently told that, Primark is Penneys and that it was originally an Irish company. How red did I feel.
That aside I do love shopping in Primark, but unfortunately you do get what you pay for the majority of the time. However, because it is generally so cheap, it doesnt seem to be too much of a worry. But then again, thats our "throw away" generation in me talking again!
Primark have started to branch out more into the home wares which I do love and find it fantastic that you can buy a duvet set, sheet and pillow cases for under £20.
Primark has always been fantastic at keeping up with the trends in the other High Street stores, and in fact, I have noticed has been in many magazines being voted "Best High Street Retailer".
As I have said before, you do get what you pay for with the majority of items from Primark. I dont tend to expect clothes to last more than a year. of course I have been surprised (I brought a coat over 2 years ago that is like new), but again you dont pay through the nose, so its not great loss when things dont keep.
Summary: Fabby bargains!
