Advantages: value for money
Disadvantages: Queues,
Primark!
Its the kind of store that a couple of years ago you would not readily admit to having purchased your clothes from but nowadays there is almost like a cult status with Primark and in the current economical climate it is the best shop in the world.
I went to Primark last week and purchased:
For me :
1 Thick long woolen jumper ( the kind you were with jeans or legging and a belt )
2 Long sleeved thin jumpers
1 Hooded jumper with a fleece lining ( perfect for walking to school)
For my 6 year old son :
1 pair of jeans
1 pair of combat style trousers
1 pair of jogging bottoms
5 long sleeved winter t-shirts
6 pairs of socks
And it cost me £35!!
How can you argue with that - Thats almost my sons entire winter wardrobe!
Now, you do need to patient in primark. The stores tend to be a bit on the messy side, as so many people have rifled through the clothes, so you need to hunt down the size that you want. If you go during the busy shopping times the queues are astonishingly long and you will have to wait, for quite a long time sometimes.
I wouldn't purchase 'special occasion' clothes here but day to day clothes for housework, school runs, shopping etc. Another gem in primark is the accessories such as handbags, costume jewellery and tights
But in this current economic climate when we are all watching the pennies but crave a little shopping or a treat now and then, then Primark offers fashionable, reasonably well made, well fitting and good value for money clothes.
You don't have to spend a fortune to look good, piecing different garments and styles together can be stylish and funky without the expense of shopping at other stores.
Summary: Give it a go!
