There are new Primark stores popping up all over the place, the most recent of which in my area is Basingstoke. They offer essential wear such as t shirts in plain colours from around £2.50, plain knitwear from £3.50, and underwear from £1. They sell a range of work clothes, white shirts, black trousers, jackets and coats. As well as womenswear they also stock menswear, accesories, baby and childrens clothes and they have a fantastic homewear section where you can pick up a king size duvet cover for £10-£15

I find the childrenswear a but tight in the arms so I always buy a size bigger but its great for underpants (£2.50 for 6) if your potty training as you tend to get through quite a few pairs!.

I bought some wooden coathangers here in a huge box- around 20 of them for £5 which I thought was exellent value. I also buy babygrows from here, although the sizing is a little off as a 3-6 month babygrow came up exactly the same as a 0-3 month babygrow form marks and spencers so again I would recommend buying a size bigger.

Over all a good value store but try to avoid it on weekends because the ques are very long and you will have to wait a long time at the changing rooms.

The clothes wash well but are very basic, so I would never shop here for an evening outfit.

Summary: Great for kids or if you are on a budget
