The cheapest clothes (Primark)

Advantages: Cheap cheap cheap

Disadvantages: Ethics questionable, very busy and long queues

Primark is a huge chain store with various shops accross the country. I have personally used Primark in Liverpool and Manchester.

The clothes in the shop are very very cheap, the cheapest you will find on the high street. You can find tops for 2 quid, and knickers for 50p. The clothes are of basic quality, and the cheaper ones can fall apart easily. I find that if you go for the more expensive ones, the £8 and £10 clothes, they are much better quality and last a bit longer, and don't seem to shrink in the wash as much as the others.

The shop itself is really busy and towards the end of the day looks like a jumble sale. If you go on a weekend you can be queing for the changing rooms for 40 mintues, and the same again for the till.

Primark have also been in the media with explotation of workers in different countries making the clothes, so shopping there could do more harm than good.

Summary: If your looking for a bargain go, but you might spend millions!
