Primark - Find some bargains on your highstreet (Primark)

I first wandered into the Primark store in Newcastle Upon Tyne around five years ago, after hearing friends raving about the prices.

I didn't expect to find any decent clobber at such cheap prices but found myself surprised at the quality and trends available.

I shop at Primark regulary now for the following reasons:

1) With my six month old baby growing so fast, I don't like to spend a fortune on his clothes. Primark has a great, inexpensive baby section so I pick up a lot of his essentials from there. I am particulary a fan of their sleepsuits and vests which work out arond £1.50 each.
2) They sell all sorts of styles of handbags, usually for under £5, from leather work style, beach bags, holdalls, glam purses etc, in a range of colours and styles. I have bought a few and they have been relatively good quality and have lasted well.
3) The lingerie range is excellent. You can pick up really pretty underwear sets for just a fiver. This is the best thing about Primark in my opinion.
4) You can buy all sorts of essential items for next to nothing - ie. summer vests for £1.50, jumpers for £8 - and occaisionally they have some high fashion trends available.
5) Primark are also a member of the ethical trading initiative, which means that they are committed to improving working conditions in the factories that supply Primark's merchandise

Summary: You can find some great, cheap items - and the lingerie is lovely
