Primark is a very cheap retail shop. It is well worth a visit if you want to stock up on some essentials without spending a fortune. Unfortunately because of the cost, the quality of the clothes sometimes suffers and a few weeks after purchasing a jumper for £6 it will start to lose its shape but there are definitely some bargains to be had in there. They are great for strappy tops at just £1.50 in summer. The downside of Primark is that it is so popular you can queue for an hour to purchase your items so if you are not intending to buy much its probably not worth the wait on a Saturday, I would make a late visit on a weekday or a Sunday morning first thing. Saturdays at Primark can be really busy and the shop ends up a right mess so its a real struggle to find anything throught the clothes people have dropped on the floor but going first thing Sunday morning means the shop has been tidied the night before and everything is where it should be. Primark are especially good in the mens department, you can often get items reduced quite cheaply here, I most recently bought a hoodie for £3 and two smart jumpers for £2 each. The childrens department is great too but I would buy a size larger than you need as the clothes are sometimes a small fitting and if you shrink them as well you need to buy bigger! Primark also have a home section where I was able to purchase lamps at £2 each and the bedding there is gorgeous - if only I had enough bedrooms to buy it all! Definitely worth the visit if you have the time to look and queue!
