I don't think you can really fault Primark when it comes to cheap clothes. There are some negatives but these are outweighed by the benefits.

I buy a lot of clothes from primark. I buy my main pieces such as a nice pair of jeans at a more expensive shop but for everyday wear to go with your nice pieces, Primark is the place to come.

I buy a lot of jumpers, cardigans and little vest tops there. These are styled on clothes from other shops and you can usually pick up a bargain that looks very much like something you'd find in topshop for 3 times the price. Brilliant!

There seems to be a misconception that clothes are badly made but I certainly haven't found this. The clothes are good quality and if they don't last as long as clothes from other shops, they are so much cheaper, it doesn't matter.

Shoes and jewellery can also be good buys here although I don't rate the homewear, it seems a little cheap looking.

Primarks downfalls are it is so unbelievabley busy! I get very stressed in there at peak time and lothes are piled everywhere, it's like a jumble sale. If you go at a quite time though it's fantastic. Primark tends to stay open half an hour later than most shops- a perfect time to visit!
