Advantages: £
Disadvantages: Quality
With the credit crunch lomeing over all of us like that masisve weight waiting to drop on our bank account we could all do with saveing the pennies when it comes to our clothing. But is Primark really credit crunch proof?
Well with the econimc 'crises' not affecting the poorer countries where the sweat shops are located the answers yes. Primarks prices aren't gonna face any pressure where that's concerned to rise.
Don't worry this isn't gonna be another lecture about the poor children working in the sweat shops. We're all aware and in some situations are bank balance out-weighs our conscience.
As far as value for money goes then everything needs to be taken into consideration for example it might cost you a fiver for a pair of shoes but then youre going to need to get a new pair every month and when you fork out for a $40 pair you'll get your moneys worth.
But i know sometimes its a case of gettign the $40 in the one go to spend.
I do think that although Primarks clothes are offordable in the long run they're just gonna fall apart.
Personaly i'd stick to Primark for the basics; undies, tights, socks and PJ'S.
Anything you want to last then i'm sorry but that's gonna cost you.
Summary: It really depends on what you're after
