Advantages: Great clothes, cheap prices.

Disadvantages: Perhaps some ethical issues of where they are made.

Primark is one of those infamous high street shops that steals all of the other shops business. Primark was in fact the inventor of the phrase "I'll think about it". Which when translated into Unambigious English means "I'll go and find it cheaper somewhere else".

The products are generally quite good quality and as you may of heard, are very cheap by comparison to other places. I'll admit that the products aren't as durable some other more costly items on the market, however there really isn't anything to worry about in this department as the clothes are cheap and they are kept in stock for a long time. This means that you can afford to buy a replacement and still save money.

Primark is very popular shop, and tends to get very busy at the weekends so a top tip would definately be to go early on in the morning or on a weekday. This way you can avoid the queues and all of the "good stuff" hasn't been bought.

I'm personally a big fan of t-shirts that don't have sports logos or unneccesary writing and pictures. I have also had trouble finding long sleeved t-shirts in the past too (for putting underneath short sleeved t-shirts). Primark sells loads of unbranded clothes, so if you're into that sort of thing then it's a worth a look. An added bonus to this if you're very fashion concious is that there aren't Primark all over your logos making you look uncool, or whatever.

Another great item that I like from Primark are the hoodies. They are all very fashionable (they sell similair designs in Topshop) and they come in a range of different colours as well as some with and without zips. They tend to be put in the mens section, which is how I first found them, however I have seen plently of women wearing them too. They are great for putting underneath coats and that sort of thing as well as just wearing by themselves with a top.

I personally don't have a great deal of experience with the womens section however it does seem to be a great deal bigger than the mens and according to the friends I have talked to it has a great deal of clothes from just as good prices.

Overall Primark is a great place to shop and in the recession it is definately a place that you will want to look into because you really will save a lot of money.

Summary: A great shop with great prices.
