Advantages: cheap

Disadvantages: queues

Primark has undergone a revival over the past 10 years. In the past it was well known for cheap, ill fitting, poor quality clothes. Thankfully it has changed to provide still fantastic value but better quality, better fitting clothes. It has also become fashionable. Whatever Primark have done they've done it well!

This shop is great for both work and going out clothes...

For work you can pick up suits for less than £15 and little vert tops / t shirts for just a few pounds. At these prices you can afford to change you wardrobe every season. The work gear is also quite fashionable and you can often pick up a 'designer copy' a few weeks after its been on the catwalk!

With regards going out clothes, this shop is great. Its so cheap you can afford to wear it once and take it to the charity shop. Their skirts and silky tops are great to pair with higher quality high street items. i.e. topshop, miss selfridge, zara.

I particularly like Primarks ever changing swimwear section. Bikinis are just £6 - £7, excellent value for money. I dont mind throwing them after 1 years wear at that price. They are also really well made and designed.

I love this shop. Great returns policy, great quality, great shopping experience. Avoid on a Sat though to dodge hefty queues!

Summary: great quality, great shopping experience

I think you have to be prepared to throw Primark stuff away after one wear because they fall to pieces after the first wash! Interesting to read a different opinion though x
