Advantages: sells everything you need to look stylish on a budget
Disadvantages: female clothing has gone down the pan
In my town Primark is the main attraction but just latley ive been wondering why.
When i was in my early teens i brought almost all of my clothes from the store however nowadays it seems that they have become far too focused on trend and not on everyday simple items. Is it just me or did the female winter range for 2008 look like victoriana gone wrong with some rather vampish clothes thrown in here and there.
I do however have some good words to say for this store. The prices are amazing and the qualityof the clothes has increased dramatically i have jackets that still look brand new after years of wear and tear and all for less than ten pounds.
Onto the male clothes and i must say i thin k primark are really improving on this department as i now find it more likely that i will walk in and find fantastic clothes for my partner instead of for myself. The childrens section is also fantastic, with veing in a large family i always have new borns and children to buy for and thequality and price of the clothes are fantastic just the other day i brought 5 newborn baby grows for three pound and that my friends is a real bobby dazzler.
i am a keen fan of underwear and accessories and Primark caters for everyones needs from beautiful underwear sets to everyday and even body sculpting pants for less than a fiver. I brought a pair for a part and i lost inches so they really do work. The selection of jewlerry belts and bags is also very on trend yet also holds essential items like stud earrings and simple necklaces for everyday occasions.
In my store i am lucky enough to have a home section which i must say is fantastic value for money with cushions at two pounds and candle sets for even less.
If you can get to any Primark however i would recommend Oxford street in London, it is fantastic and the selection is the largest i have ever seen. However you must be prepared to queue as the store is that amazing that the queue can often leave you waiting for half an hour becauseof the bargain hunters.
Summary: go now and see for yourself

- 25/03/09 You must have a bigger/better store near you if can find good mens stuff. In the store mear me, the mens section takes up about 1/8 of the floor area of the top floor (it's two storey) and apart from a small childrens section, the rest is entirely womens wear. I can look round the entire mens section in about 2 minutes, and that's giving myself time to look at everything!!! |
