Advantages: cheap, well organised, stylish, good quality

Disadvantages: you never know who or what made your clothes.

Primark is renowned for its cheap clothing, underwear, swimwear, accessories and shoes. It lives up to its reputation, providing fashionable styles at charity shop prices. But like any other good thing, there are negative sides.

Recently, evidence was found of Primark using "sweatshops" to sew beads and sequins onto their clothes. Employed in these below-minimum-wage sweatshops were children under the legal working age. This severely altered my opinion of Primark overall.

Cheap clothes are difficult to resist, as any selfrespecting female will know. Primark does indeed provide good quality, despite the price, and clothes for every style. I myself have not stopped shopping in Primark, but I choose to buy clothes without beading or sequins, so I can at least hope that the clothes I wear were made in a factory, not by underpaid children.

I would certainly reccommend Primark for its price and quality, but not for its morals. I hope that shoppers can make their own decisions, and continue to enjoy Primark clothes in an ethical manner.

Summary: for detail such as beads and sequins, shop elsewhere.
