Advantages: cheap, affordable, some good stuff
Disadvantages: shoe sizing, hot stores, stupid slow staff
I sit writing this review wearing a pair of £5 primark black trousers , £1 primark earings , £1 bracelets from primark and £4 primark gladiator sandals... mixed with a bit of top shop!
Primark is a discount store found all over the UK in shopping centres or high streets. The shop sells value clothing for men women and children as well as a smaller variety of home ware.
Firstly....
Quality of Products - Personally the quality of products i would say is average. Some products can ruin easily but it depend on how you care for your clothing. Theres some things i thought i wouldnt buy from primark, but recently i bought a pair of blue skinny jeans for £5 and funnily enough they ahve not faded in the wash at all, bargain! Im a bit warey of buying bags incase they break though!
The shoes - Always try them on!!!!!!!! many a time have i picked up a size 7 and when i get home their more like a 9! the shoes can come up ridiculously big so TRY THEM ON! other than that they are great value, and this season have some trendy sandals n flip flops!
The stores - HOT, SMELLY, RAMPAGE! no air conditioning, the oxford street store is mayhem, so many great items you cant find in other stores but the ques are like hell on earth, and the staff are thick!
However despite all bad points i still use primark as i get bargains, but if your into fashion make sure you mix it up with some better high street stores, so you dont look or feel so tacky!
Summary: gotta suck it up if you want a bargain!

as for the child labour.... firstly many companies exploit child labout, and in the third world being paid very little is better than being paid nothing, it may seem like were exploiting but the economy there is different.
And its not really exploiting them to death is it, bit dramatic! |

- 03/06/09 I guess if you can overlook the fact that foreign kids were probably exploited to death to enable you to have a pair of sandals for £4 then that's your prerogative. |
