Advantages: Cheap, collections regularly updated

Disadvantages: sometimes items of poor quality

Primark is the equivalent of a fashion value range, their large stores supplying bargain clothing, shoes and accessories for all individuals, as well as homeware. Though often claimed to be cheap, shabbily made and supportive of unethical third world production, they in fact scored higher in ethical conduct than Marks and Spencers in a recent investigation - and at least Primark pass any savings onto the consumer! They have recently started a range of basic t-shirts made with fairtrade cotton, in attempt to further dispel these negative rumours.
The products themselves are of varying quality - but personally I find most of the clothing fits well, and in fact several tops have lasted far longer in good condition than ones from Topshop, at triple the price! A wide range of regularly updated fashions are made available to the penniless student, and their collections often contian blatent ripoffs of the current seasons catwalk styles! As disposable fashion, their products are mainly designed for the young fashion-concious consumer, with little money yet able to get a new outfit for every night out!

Summary: Perfect shop for poor fashionistas!
