Horrible experience yet always buy something! (Primark)

Advantages: CHEAP, fashionable Disadvantages: Hard to return, stores are bad and quality is poor. Primark - the only shop where you hate going in there and whenever you go it is 100% garaunteed you will not walk out empty handed. Why? IT IS SO CHEAP!! The quailty is not great - anything you buy will likely fall apart within two months; not just the odd button but seams/hems/poor material which washes up badly. So why keep buying in there? - As i said before, the price is LOW, the items are quite on-trend and never far behind the catwalks, you dont normally want the items for more than a month or two and there is always a little something you can treat yourself with at a fraction of competitors. The stores, especially their flagship Oxford Circus, are extremely busy and very messy; it is not unheard of to have 40 people in the fitting room queues in London, and to take things back can take up to two hours. They also dont do refunds OR exchanges on items without receipts, even if its for a smaller/larger size - great for their profits of course. I always buy things and take them back either at opening or at closing of a smaller out of town store - the stress is simply not worth it otherwise. Summary: Great for cheap treats. |
