Advantages: Up to date on Trends, Cheep Clothing

Disadvantages: Products are not always the best in quality, long queues

Primark, the shop that even if you think you don't need anything you always come out of there with something! I went last week and all I needed was a pair of back trousers for work but somehow ended up with 2 tee-shirts, an over the shoulder tassle bag, a pair of ballet pumps and some socks!

Primark has stores not only in the UK but in Ireland (Where it oringinated), Germany, Spain and Portugal. The stores themselves in my opinion are not the best as the lay-out is quite cramped and clothing is often found to have fallen of the hangers and onto the floor. The clothes are not of the best quality and having brought a bag form there recently, after 2 uses the strap broke, yet people including myself keep going back ofr more..Why, because in the current climate of the 'credit crunch' the clothes are cheap! Not only do Primark sell clothes for females but they also cater for males and childrens clothings as well as in some stores homewares and beauty products.

The clothes follow the cat-walk trends and I find myself looking in other stores for clothes but saying to myself 'I bet I can get that cheaper in Primark'. Trousers that cost me £12 are above the £20 pricetag in other leading high street stores.

When I have had the experience of having to take a product back they are not always the most helpful and queues are often long and if you are pushed for time it can be frustrating.

With Primark opening more stores on a regular basis I feel more and more people will be falling under its spell!!!

Summary: High street store, modern look clothing...not always the greatest quality
