Advantages: Cheap prices, plenty of choice, many outlets

Disadvantages: Can be messy sometimes, can get really busy especially during weekends and holidays

Primark, one of the most popular stores in the country. One of the most simple explanation, its cheap prices. The great thing about Primark is the concept of shopping there, whereas if you had gone to a more premium and expensive store or departmental store, you would not be able to strength the value of your money further. For example, 3 V-Neck T-Shirts that come in a variety of colours, for a really reasonable five pounds. Where as if you had visited another store that probably get 25% of the price for one single V-neck t shirt.

Overall the quality of most of their products are quite decent, again bearing in mind the price. However there are particular batches of products sometimes which are a bit disappointing, which suffer from stitching issues or faded materials that are fine as long as you spot them and return them within the stated period. When thinking about the quality of the products the source of the product comes come to mind, which was highlighted a while ago on a television documentary that documented how employees in other countries where paid less than the minimum wage, etc.
Personally I think this is unfortunate, because although Primark do check the source of their suppliers, there is nothing to stop the suppliers themselves changing their workforces, factory conditions etc to save cost. Most importantly, Primark has stopped using this supplier which means the products are once again made ethically. This had made me question shopping at Primark, however once there was the reassurance, I felt that it was just a mistake that they had no control of.

Most of the stores also stock a wide range of clothing and accessories, this is very convenient. Because in the event that you want to buy an entire outfit for a certain occasion, you can just visit any store and pick all of the clothing and accessories you need for a real bargain price. You could also purchase the more plain and basic clothing items from the store for a really cheap price which means they are ideal if you join activities that could get really messy such as paintball.

The only issue that sometimes annoys me is the state of the stores which can get messy. With clothing scattered all over the floors and products just piled on the aisles. Initially, I assume that it was the fault of the staff for not arranging the products. However as I started to visit the store on a more regular basis, I managed to conclude that it was not the staff's fault but a small percentage of customers which think they have the right to treat the store like a skip just because they are paying low prices. Upon seeing this I felt again it is unfortunate, because you can't really control the type of customers that visit your store and it is just no morally correct to do so, yet it is not illegal to throw clothes on the floor.

I now visit their store quite often, especially to get new shirts and ties which can sometimes cost a small fortune, and am impress because they are constantly adding new colours and patterns to their already wide range of ties.

Summary: This a great store if you want to keep cost down, and do not want to compromise on basic style
