High street shoppers heaven (Primark)

Advantages: clothes cheaper than potatoes, which look nearly designer!

Disadvantages: prices are going up slowly but surely!

I'd never heard of Primark until a couple of years ago when I was out shopping in London with my mother and discovered the huge Marble Arch Primark. I think we actually went mad, thinking this was the only Primark there was and shopping as if there was no tomorrow, ending up spending over a hundred pounds, which in Primark is a lot of bags! Since then I have realised there are Primarks pretty much everywhere (much to my joy) and still can't leave one without at least two bags full.

Never heard of or been two Primark? Imagine this: lingerie for £1, bikinis for £2, tops for £3, pumps for only a fiver and coats for £15 max. I know what your thinking: "must be awful quality," but thats the great thing about Primark, you can get clothes which look like they're from Topshop or RiverIsland, but which cost about a fifth of the price.

However recently Primark doesn't seem quite so magic as it once was, prices are upping, making it less magic, and yet quality seems to be going down. Vest tops which you used to get for 90p are now £2 and much thinner material. Still £2 is still a pittence, and who cares about the feel of the material when you can afford something new every week, and it looks good!
