Advantages: cheap cheap cheap
Disadvantages: poor quality. limited life span
I occassionaly shop at Primark when i am dragged in by the other half.
I find the range of mens clothes is far far less than the availablility of womens clothing. Although by the time i have browzed the mens section i have seen enough and noramlly picked up a couple of odd items to purchase.
Primark in general also sell womens clothing, kids clothing, shoes, jewllery, bags, beach stuff, PJ's and some home furnishings such as cushions.
I find the mens clothing to be extremely cheap, noramlly a top for under £10, so its a great shop for picking up bargins. However i do tend to find the quality is pretty poor. The clothing is often stitched wrong, so instead of going straight down at the sides, they are diagonal, sometimes looking strange to wear, so are a waste of money. I also find that they tend not to last long in the washing machine, noramlly a handful of washes and the poor clothing battered!
Although i find the clothing quality poor, i think you do honestly get what you pay for, i mean how long do you expect a top costing £2.50 to last?
I've also bought a couple of belts from here which have lasted a while so worth it here, although limited choice.
Overall i think in primark, women have got the far better deal in realtion to choice. You get what you pay for in this shop, and i always buy my holiday clothes from here as they are cheap and cheerful!
Summary: great holiday shop, though you simply get what you pay for here!
