Ooooh! Primark bag spotted! (Primark)

Advantages: It is very cheap

Disadvantages: It worries me

I am one of the (seemingly) few people who lives in a city without a Primark. Granted the city in question can sometimes go so far up its own butt I expect someone would have something to say (via the medium of the local paper) along the lines of 'dissapointed' etc.

The outcome of this is that despite the guilt I still get excited when I see a Primark. I was in Exeter this afternoon and I saw a lady with the brown bag of sin and felt a little flutter in my heart... where is it?

I found it in the older shopping center, where I assume the rent is cheaper.

The only other Primark I have been in is Oxford Street (joke! its in marble arch!). I found the Exeter store to have fairly low ceilings which always bothers me, but to be nice and free of actual other shoppers - result!

The layout of the store is a bit confusing, it seems that the mens items are on the left side of the main aisle and ladies on the right, this perplexed me to have them running side by side. I soon tired of the clothes as it was quite untidy and reminded me of a jumble sale, stuff all heaped up unfolded

I got to the escalator in the middle of the store and tried to work out if the shoes were down there or at the other end of the store... no signs, no staff... I ended up asking someone who had come up!

Phew. The shoes n bags. 1 bag, 2 pairs of shoes, 19 hair bands, tights & foor comforters (for the heels) bargain £20. Can't say fairer than that.

The shop assistant was fine, bit wishy washy, but its late on a sunday, she didn't offend me, so thats always good! She did charge me too much tho! and then they had to void my transaction and put through a new one...blah it took about 5-7 mins, so not too bad.

Primark certainly has its place. I have some lovely blue shoes.
