Advantages: Cheap clothes and soft furnishings, accessories, etc...
Disadvantages: Many clothes have foreign labels on them from countries like India...
We have got a really huge Primark store in Sheffield at Meadowhall and there's one in our city centre too but I go the huge one mainly as it's easy to get to by tram...
Our Primark is massive and covers two floors full of pretty much everything you could think of for soft furnishing for your home and loads of clothes too.
Downstairs is really cool with all the different clothes sections and accessories too!
The clothes sections are men's, women's and kids clothes, with my favourite part being the makeup and accessories part where many things only cost a pound :)
I get loads of my makeup from here as well as crazy things like funky glasses that only cost £1 that I wear to dress up in to look retro-funky, lol!
My clothes style is classed as 'emo' so it can be pretty difficult to get clothes cheaply for my look, but they do occasionally have some cool rock style jackets on and trousers too.
Everything is modern and up to date in the clothes lines, and there's' a massive underwear and night wear section too which is awesome for the big range of soft pyjamas and matching dressing gowns.
This is a great place to shop at for Christmas or birthdays as its great value for money. I've bought many presents here ranging form chunky bangles to nice earrings which start at £2 a pair mostly...
There are loads of changing rooms and you can have up to 14 days to return goods I think to refund or exchange on which is cool :)
A lift is available for wheelchair users or an escalator runs up one side of the shop...
Upstairs they sell stuff like towels, picture frames, lamps, etc, loads of things for the home really. My mum bought some towels and she got two bath towels and four hand towels for only £16 which was great...
I think Primark is brilliant for those on a budget, the only thing is that loads of he clothes, etc, is made abroad which makes it so cheap so you have to think about are children involved in making the clothes, etc?
For me living on pocket money until I start college this place is brilliant although sometimes the quality can be pretty bad with some of the materials.
Four stars for a great, if cheap store that helps when times are hard.
Summary: The cheapness will win over quality for people who can't afford better...

- 22/08/09 The main problem with Primark is the exploitation of cheap labour though, which sucks. Nice review though :) |

- 20/08/09 It's so cheap I can't even wear their stuff! I bought several tops from them, proudly wore it until my friend made a comment that my top was see-through! :o( Nicely reviewed. |
