Advantages: the pricing is exceptional
Disadvantages: quality can often let them down.
If cheap, quick disposable fashion is your thing then this is the store for you. Primark stands very much for the pile it high sell it cheap end of retailing.
If you have never been into a Primark store then you may be surprised on first entering. Unles you are there first thing in the morning it is often quite a messy affair. There are piles and piles of clothes stacked everywhere along with loads of rails.
Primark does not only sell adult clothing. Its ranges for children are very good value if you are not too fussy about quality. There are different age ranges and the trends are usually all catered for. Considering the rate that children grow out of their clothing this is not a bad bet for everyday stuff.
For adults it is possible to get some good pieces. You need to make sure that you check all the seems and stitching etc but if you are looking for something basic it is fine and if it you were looking for something special to wear then it would be unlikley that you would be here in the first place. The ranges are varied and for basics such as t-shirts it is excellent.
The homeware section is quite limited in all my local stores, however if you need pillow cases or cushions this may be a good option, similarly their beach towels are fabulous - so low in price that if you leave them behind when coming home from you holiday you do not need to worry!
Summary: if you are buying basics and are not worried about the ethical side of life then this is the place
