Advantages: cheap

Disadvantages: untidy stores, queues

I have a tenuous relationship with Primark. Whilst I can never resist a bargain, and Primark really is the place for bargains, shopping there is never a stress free experience! A shop with bit branches in most cities, they sell clothes, accessories, shoes, lingerie, homewear and bags. And all at bargain basement prices!!

Their flagship store is in Oxford Street, which employs 1800 staff!! It is over 2 floors and is absolutely huge, but you can hardly move in there on a saturday afternoon. The shop assistants work hard, but clothes are thrown around and finding your size is a challenge. The queues for the changing room and the tills are a mile long, so you really need at least an hour to shop there!!

The clothes vary in style: there are the basics, and then the more fashionable stuff, which often, I find, misses the mark. However, I've bought some really nice dresses from there, as well as coats and shoes. They are especially good for cheap boots I find.

The clothes are so cheap, you can't expect real quality, and this fashion is disposable. Expect buttons to fall off, zips to break, jeans to stretch. But then at four pounds a go, can you expect any less?
