Advantages: Cheap and quality shop for anyone on the budget
Disadvantages: none
When it comes to high street shopping I have no doubt where my clothes are coming Though I personally love Fair Trade shops I honestly can not keep up with their high prices and I just do not have enough money to buy the strictly necessary.
If your really think about it unless you buy ethical made clothing you can bet pretty much everything else comes from the exploitation and hard work of other people, this is the truth on how people in UK can afford the high living standard and consumerism fashion. I just don't think is fair to live under the illusion that Top Shop, Clarks, Debenhams is any better because they just have higher prices. This is how the world goes round and if there is a hell we will all burn in it for being ignorant.
Primark is a chain shop spread all over Britain and is available in all the cities as far as I notice.
Primark stands out mainly diue to the fact that is ultra cheap selling : clothing, shoes , accessories, make-up etc. As you would expect in any shop, Primark can cover all your needs.
I have been to Primark twice in my life and I loved the experience. If you would know how cheap things are without seeing them you would thing is not worth a penny but truth being is that Primark is capable of selling good quality long lasting items.
This weekend on my last visit the shelves wore packed with winter clothing. The place was a bit untidy and as the day progresses it gets a bit messy as they have a huge amount of customers shopping and trying things on, honestly is not that tragic.
I was surprised to see there things I wanted in along while as for example a knee length cable knit cardigan with buttons in the middle for £11.00 made beautifully with good yarn and great design. I would of paid for this at least £50 in any other place in town.
I do not like synthetic fabrics and I have noticed that most of the items there wore made of natural fibres like cotton and wool so I was most certainly very happy.
They also sell cotton polo neck basic tops for only £5 and I have bought a few of them.
With all this said is hard not to fill your shopping basket there as things will be so cheap and with a good selection. For £30 you can get dresses from head to toe for day or evening time and look decent or indecent if you want. I got to say is not all white track suits and chav clothing as they make it out to be.
I recommend going first thing in the morning so you don't get much traffic and leave your partner at home to roam freely as there is much to see and try on.
Once you have been to Primark it will be hard to see any other shops with the same eyes, all appears like a complete rip off.
Summary: same ol'
