Advantages: cheap, good selection, a lot of staff,
Disadvantages: busy, bad quality, queues,
Is primark a good place to shop? well it depends on what your looking for, but to anyone looking for cheap clothes no other shop beats it.
it's ideal for penny stretched mum's who just wants to buy baby clothes without going to mothercare and spending £100 because-they'll-grow-out-of-it-in-5-minutes-and-wi ll-puke-on-it-anyway.
(NICE...)
Althought you'll have to do some groovy pushchair manoovers to get into the place.
It's absolutely packed, as soon as you get in there's people shouting bashing into you and the poor sales assistant running around fighting a loosing battle against a clothing avalanche. About the sales assistants... when i go in about 90% are asian and all the staff read outs arn't in english, which makes me worry about how much they are being paid.
if you go in at about 7PM it as busy as a normal shop would be, I bought a really nice "woolen" jumper there for £6, would have cost £40 + in H & M, I've quoted the "woolen" part because its actually 100% acrylic, no wool involved. oh well. Primark doesn't do quality or fair trade, it's only good for one thing - cheap clothes.
If your lucky enough to have a big primark near you it'll be selling everything from home wear to jewelry. the queues are long but theres usually a lot of people on the tills.
Summary: good clothes VERY good pices
