Advantages: Cheap and a large selection of everything
Disadvantages: Spend too long queuing
I go to Primark every few months and do a big shop, due to the fact that my nearest store is more than two hours away. When I do go I come home with a large selection of clothes, and rarely spend more than a £100.
Recently I went shopping for babies clothes and the selection was incredible-with the prices being equally so. They have a large range of clothing for everyone, and the perfect accessories to finish any outfit off.
As their stores are so big, they always have lots of everything-annoying if you're wanting a unique outfit.
The disadvantage with these stores are that they always have massive queues, and you spend longer queueing up to pay, than you do browsing the entire store.
People often say that you pay for what you get-but with primark this is not so. I have various items from there, including footwear that I have had for a long time and still looks as good as new.
Last christmas I purchased some boots in the sale which worked out at £4.92-and I am still wearing them now. With Primark the prices are more than reasonable and you can still dress like you have spent a fortune on your outfit. They sell a good range of sizes, and unlike most clothing stores they order more of their popular sizes-so that there is always something there for everyone.
Summary: Wish there was a store nearer to my hometown!
