Good ol Primarni!

Advantages: Cheap, nice selection
Disadvantages: can be low quality, appears to be washed in harsh detergents so should be washed before wear
I do love a bit of Primark. Everyone likes a bargain and this shop is full of them.
If I'm honest the clothes arent hugely my thing, I'm tall as it is so all of the trousers and jeans are out of the question and some of the tops too. I think I've bought about 2 tops in there- one which stretched really quickly out of shape and now shows half my bra but what did I expect for £4!
Underwear, nightwear & shoes are really more my thing in Primark. I once went to Primark to buy shoes. I did come back with a pair of shoes... I also came back with £50 of underwear (much to the red faced embarassment of the teenage boy who scanned it for me). And in Primark that is a lot of underwear, often yuu can pick up certain underpants for just £1. Lacy, colourful and cheap!
As for nightwear I'm just a bit of a pjama junkie, you cant go wrong with pjamas and you need them for all occasions- summer, winter, short term boyfriend stay over, long term boyfriend staying over, sleep over etc etc!
Shoes from Primark...well lets face it they're never going to last, if you get a few pairs though they tend to last for the season at least and when thats all you can afford thats what you're going to go for!
Aswell as underwear, nightwear and shoes I'm also loving babywear now I have a child of my own. Many times i have picked up a few bits for Tyler at rock bottom prices- cute logoed t shirts or sweet little pjamas. There is definitly less selection for boys than girls in childrenswear but this is true for most shops if I'm honest.
One thing to note is if buying your children clothes from Primark you should probably wash it first. I once bought a t shirt to replace one that Tyler had soaked with dribble. I changed him once I'd bought it. That evening when I took it off for bath he was covered in a blotchy t shirt rash! I have since washed all Primark clothes before wear!
I have noticed that Primark has raised some of its prices, I'm not sure whether this is due to their popularity, inflation or according to a rumour I heard they are no longer paying foreign supplies ridiculously low wages.
I was spoilt where I lived before with 2 Primarks, one in each of my 2 nearest towns (each a 10-20 min drive away) unfortunatly where I am now its a 20 minute train journey to a Primark (albeit a very large one!) So I do visit it less but when it comes to bargains I know where I wanna shop!
Summary: Lovely cheap shop but dont expect items to always last.
