Advantages: cheap, range of goods
Disadvantages: crowded changing rooms, service isn't that good
I don't know about you but Primark is one of those places where you either are embarassed about shopping in there, you couldn't care care less or you care sometimes. I think this is mainly because the shop is well known for being simply CHEAP. Now this is not neccarily a bad thing for some people but personally I think that I would much rather pay a bit more and buy something from a shop like Nwe Look or Pilot then in Primark. There is clothes for boys, girls, men and women. Which include bras, knickers, trousers, baby grows, socks, tee-shirts, shirts, pants and a few others. This sounds vairly good but the quality isn't quite up to my standards really. The shop seems quite crowded if I go in on a Saturday there always seems to be an unhelpful quite rude person behind the till. The changing rooms are also a bit weird aswell. This is mainly because they are like not seperate rooms their is just one room for females and one roon for males. This makes you feel uncomfortable and confined. I don't have a problem with shopping in there but if given the chance to shop somewhere else I definately would.

Havinalaff - 24.10.01 My local Primark gets so busy that by 12 o clock midday all the clothes are on the floor.
Most of all the really wealthy people I know(and i'm not one of them) dont believe in wasting money on their day to day clothes. They shop in second hand stores, jumble sales, boot sales etc and love cheap and cheerful shops like Primark. They would rather spend their money on private education for their kids and spectacular holidays. |
